Dr. Manu A N son of Dr. A M Nagesh has done his MBBS from Al-Ameen Institute at Bijapur and completed his MD in Psychiatry from Narayana Medical College at Nellore. He has worked in NIMHANS for 6 months in Child Psychiatry Department in the year 2012. He has been practicising at Chethana Neuro Centre since 2013.
His vision to help the needy and his interest in the area of Substance Use Disorders like Addition, Toxicity, and Psychosis, Mood Disorders etc that require Long term care and Counseling made him establish Parivarthana Deaddiction Center in the year 2014. It was run for almost 2 years under his supervision which provided healthy Deaddiction environment at very nominal fees.
He is a Consultant in various hospitals at Hassan and has good experience in treating both acute and chronic Neuropsychiatric conditions ranging from Vascular Headache, Phobia’s, Depression, Nerve Disorders, Anxiety, Schizophrenia, Mania, OCD, Psychosis, Dementia, Stroke, Delirium and other related disorders. He is also specialized in treating Child related cases like ADHD, Learning Disorders, Mental Retardation, Epilepsy, Mood Disorders and Behavioral Disorders.
He has been part of conducting free medical camps organized by Rotary Midtown and Indian Medical Association (IMA) Hassan Branch. Apart from Psychiatry and Counseling he is a good sportsman and is a key player for IMA cricket team (Hassan) and Psychiatry Premier League team (state level). He represented Blue Team for Badminton (RGUHS), Tennis and Table Tennis player (NTRUHS).
